Delivery & Returns

We aim to dispatch all items within 3 working days using a National courier for our large items and Royal Mail 2nd Class for smaller items. During busy periods please allow a little longer as we are a small team.

For couriered items you will receive an email the day of dispatch to advise of the delivery date. Usually the couriers will then email you on the day with a time slot and tracking information. We encourage the use of a leave safe instruction where possible i.e ‘leave with neighbour or in porch if out’.

  • Scottish Highlands & North Scotland: £24.30 (2-3 days from dispatch) (AB, FK17-21, IV1-40, 52-54, 63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PA80, PH15-41, 49-50)
  • Isle of Wight – £33.55 (3-5 working days from dispatch)
  • Northern Ireland – £29.70 (3-5 working days from dispatch)

Delivery Troubleshooting:

If your order arrives incomplete please let us know, often the ‘missing’ parcel will arrive the following day but we need to know in order to follow up.

If the courier is unable to deliver you will be ‘carded’. You can arrange one more attempt before the order is returned to us. If the parcel is returned to us due to non-delivery, extra charges will apply.

If in the unlikely event your order arrives badly damaged we urge you to reject it to make it quicker for us to get it back and send out a replacement.

Cancellations & Returns Policy

We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase however we understand there are occasions when you may need to return or cancel your order. Please get in touch if you need to do so.

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to let us know if you wish to return goods to us (providing they are unused and in their original packaging). You then have a further 14 days to get the goods back to us. It will be the responsibility of the customer to pay for and arrange the return. On receipt of the undamaged and saleable goods we will refund the full cost of the item(s). We cannot accept returns of items that have been installed or used. Please note that we reserve the right to apply a re-stocking/re-packing charge of £5 per order if necessary.

Cancellations

Please note orders are often dispatched very promptly. Once the order has left our workshop it is not possible to ‘cancel’, the returns procedure above will apply.

Faulty Goods

Whilst every effort is taken to ensure all our products arrive with you in perfect condition sometimes faults and damages do arise. In this case it is important that you let us know immediately, preferably by email (sales@clothesmaid.com) detailing the problem and providing clear photographs if possible. Replacements for items that are deemed faulty will be sent out free of charge.
